Volunteer questions
Do I need dental experience?
No. Community volunteers welcome and guide people, support hospitality, organize nonclinical supplies, and help with setup or packing. Clinical roles are matched to qualifications.
What happens after I sign up?
Your preferences go to the organizing team for review. Your assignment, shift, reporting location and preparation requirements are confirmed separately.
Can I choose my role and shift?
You can share preferences, but placement is not guaranteed.
How do clinical and student assignments work?
The clinical lead reviews qualifications before any clinical assignment. Choosing a role or student background does not authorize clinical work. Ages 14–17 are limited to nonclinical help.
What should I wear, bring and prepare?
Clothing, equipment, arrival time and station preparation vary by assignment. Follow your confirmed role’s instructions, and ask the organizing team if anything isn’t confirmed.
Can I register a group or a child?
Adults register with their own contact details and may act as a group contact. Youth use the category for their age, completed by a parent or guardian. Never enter a child’s personal details.
Can I take photos or share the event?
You’re welcome to share this page. Follow the organizers’ consent and privacy instructions for photos, and never share patient information, clinical images or private registration details.
